Music for the car!

Need something to listen to on the way to school or on the way home?  To keep the kids occupied here is a great Compilation by popular Los Angeles children’s music teacher, Dustin Type’s new CD, Dustin and the Leftover Pancakes is great fun.  It has something for everyone (kind of like a good Saturday morning cartoon); catchy pop/rock tunes and clever lyrics that will keep both you and your children’s attention.  My favorite song is one called ‘There’s a Guy’ which is a great take on learning about different colors.  Check out Dustin’s web site at dustintype to sample the songs, order the cd and find out when he’ll be playing in your area.

Dustin TypeDustin and the Leftover Pancakes

Uncluttered, VERY happy rock and roll songs from LA-based children’s music teacher Dustin Type. Lots of rip-roarin’ guitar solos from Glen West on songs about colors, numbers, letters, pets, trains, and food. One of the best lines comes from “The Number Song (Something Special)”: ‘The number 16 likes expensive jeans’. Type’s style (like a low-key Brady Rymer) and lyrical content makeLeftover Pancakes one of the few CDs aimed at preschoolers that really hits its target audience.

Say goodbye to your favorite CD’s because once you put this one in and your kids hear it - they’ll never let you take it out.  Our two children have memorized every word of every song - the whole family sings along to it.

The whole album is fun, happy and makes you want to rock out.  You got to check out “ABC”, “Pets” and “Hello Hello”.   (Debbie and Mark Feldstein)
